Pleven, 01.11.2023г. LEONI Bulgaria follows sustainable approach in environment protection. The wire systems producer in automobile sector has successfully passed a certification quality audit in compliance with the ISO 14001:2015 standard.
The audit procedure conducted by TÜV Nord Bulgaria, focused on a detailed analysis of ecology aspects and impacts; risk assessment and prevention; hazardous materials application and storage; waste management. Personnel’s training and preparedness were, too, subject to in depth observations of the audit committee. Its conclusions confirmed that the management system on environment and standard’s implementation complies with the international standard and does in practice reflect on the good global practices in environment protection.
„It is important for the plant to develop sustainable culture of responsible attitude to a production process of significant added value and with responsibly managed ecology impact. The working environment is clean, air conditioned and standardized. SHE is a thoroughgoing priority. The certification procedure now passed by the plant is an important confirmation on our preparedness to produce a product in full compliance with customer’s requirements within conditions which are compatible to the expectations about controlled environmental impact”, plant manager Andrey Kossoukhov commented.
ISO 14001:2015 is a standard, which reflects on the requirements to a management system for environment impact management of the company.
